Soon after you enroll, we’ll have a call together where we create a personalized plan for the next 12 months of your music production journey.
This plan is based on your own goals, strengths and weaknesses, and will show you what to focus on each week/month. All so you can have maximum success and the fastest growth.

In these sessions, you’ll receive the specific attention you need to improve your projects.
You’ll share a project with me so we can implement feedback, answer questions and bring it up to a professional standard.

EMAIL COACHING & PROJECT FEEDBACK
Each week, you’ll submit a project you’re working on where you’ll apply what you’ve learned that week. Each weekly project will be customized to you – based on the plan we create in our first 1-on-1 session.
Throughout the week as you send me what you’re working on, I’ll record videos of me diving deep into your track, analyzing it and giving it detailed feedback.
As you progress, you’ll have a bunch of music that you can not only be proud of but also release into the world.

It’s a fully personalized coaching program with a strong focus on live sessions, feedback and helping you achieve your goals.
We used to run this as a 12 week/3 month program, but we’ve now extended it to a 12 month program. This is so we can continue to help ensure you get the results in your music that you’re looking for.
Of course! Although this is a 12-month program with weekly project submissions, it’s not the end of the world if you miss a week now and then.
If you’re going to be gone for extended periods of time (e.g. over a month), we can also look at pausing your progress – no stress.
Absolutely not! If you haven’t already, you can create your alias inside the program as you start to think about releasing.
Definitely! A lot of producers have put out a lot of music, but aren’t happy with its quality or know they could be doing even better. Many producers see this program as a ‘reset’ button for their artist projects. You’ll not only learn how to release music, but how to release high-quality music.
You don’t need any! Whether you’re a complete beginner, or you’ve got a bit of experience – you’ll fit right in thanks to our personalized onboarding experience.
Our program is suitable for any genre of electronic dance music, whether underground or commercial, chill or heavy, 4-on-the-floor or broken beat. We’ll tailor the program to you thanks to our Ultimate Genre Toolkit, which is the perfect companion to the main program.
All you need is a computer/laptop, a pair of headphones/monitors/speakers, and a DAW.
We highly recommend Xfer Serum too, but you can get by without it. You can get Xfer Serum on Rent-to-Own on Splice here. If you’re looking for the next best thing, Matt Tytel’s Vital synth is a good free alternative.
The program is in the low-mid $1000s. You can either pay in full or in 3x installments, as covered on your application call. Please note that installment plans may end up being slightly more expensive in total (due to finance fees).
Absolutely. While we believe that this is the most powerful, in-depth program for getting your electronic music to a professional standard… If you don’t get anything out of the program in the first 14 days, we’ll refund you 100%. No questions asked.
You can take The Producer Launchpad use any modern DAW, including Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro X, Bitwig, Reason, Studio One, Cubase, Pro Tools, Reaper & more. However, we recommend against ‘beginner’ DAWs like Garageband, since functionality is limited. Most of our students at EDMProd use Ableton Live, and it’s our #1 recommendation.
We recommend ~10 hours a week (90 minutes a day) for the best results. This includes all time spent taking the program + any time creating music + attending any live calls, so you’ll easily hit this if you’re committed. Many students choose to go beyond 10 hours/week, and some choose to go at a slower pace closer to 5 hours/week. Ultimately, it’s up to you and your schedule.
Please note that we build in 4 weeks of holiday time over the 12 month period so our instructors can take a break (and so can you!). If your schedule coincides with a holiday (e.g. Christmas or Easter etc.), we will resume after the holidays end.
Additional holiday time (due to instructor leave etc.) will extend your enrollment time out by the extra amount.
EDM Foundations is a course consisting of video-based lessons where you recreate existing tracks.
The Producer Launchpad is not a course – it is a coaching program, providing live sessions, weekly feedback and projects, accountability, and an exclusive producer community. You’ll also be working on your own originals, instead of re-creating tracks. Plus, it’s a 12 month program, so there’s way more depth to the content.
Aden is currently the sole producer and coach running The Producer Launchpad (hence the small student base).
As the program grows, additional producers trained by Aden may be brought in to help with group sessions, coaching & video feedback.
Group sessions happen 3 times a week, depending on the number of students in the program, and are subject to change. Generally, the times are US & Europe-friendly.
Nope! While we strongly recommend showing up regularly, it’s okay if you miss a session or two. All calls are recorded.
At the end of the day, the more you attend, the more you’ll get out of the program. The core content will not be shared on the live calls and can be watched in video lesson format.

As a producer, your main role is bringing sound together to create music. Which is why we’ll dive deep into sound selection.
We’ll cover how to control the world of sound available at your fingertips. We’ll show you the best places to find sounds, how to think of the ‘big picture’ when choosing samples & presets, and much more.
We’ll also jump into drum programming – the backbone of all electronic dance music. We’ll show you how to select perfect drum sounds every time, program patterns that hit the spot, and turn a simple loop into something killer.
This week, we’ll bring it all together. You’ll learn how to bring sounds, chords & melodies together to instantly create incredible song ideas.
And you’ll learn how to do it all in a matter of minutes (not hours).
Plus, you’ll learn how to hack your way to pro-level song ideas by using reference tracks (the right way).
Do you mix at the end, or do you mix as you go? In this module, we’ll answer questions like these and dive into the foundations of mixing.

We’ll be going beyond the basic tools and dive into the modern tools available for sculpting your mix to a pro standard.
We’ll show you how to add warmth with saturation, polish your sounds with multiband compression, achieve clarity with resonance suppression, and more.

It’s no secret that tracks with vocals perform better commercially. So knowing how to work with vocals in ANY form is an essential skill as a producer in 2023.
